Marie-Pier Langelier has been Vice-President, Strategy and Risks at the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) since March 2024. In this role, she is responsible for the Office of the President and CEO, strategic planning and government relations.

She leads the teams supporting areas that are strategic for the organization, including the Office of the Chief Economist, integrated risk management and the coordination of certain activities in national and international affairs, as well as internal communications.

Ms. Langelier worked for the Government of Québec for over 25 years in several strategic positions. She managed the Office of the Secretary of the Conseil du trésor as well as the Office of the President and CEO of the Société québécoise des infrastructures, where she was in charge of communications and strategic planning.

She was a member of the Board of Directors of Retraite Québec until her appointment by the Conseil des ministres to the position of Associate Secretary General responsible for the Office of the Secretary General and Clerk of the Conseil exécutif and for government coordination.

Ms. Langelier has a bachelor’s degree in political science and also completed studies in law. She also holds a university certification in corporate governance from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
