International Affairs
In recent years, international financial markets have undergone major transformations. In response to this new reality, regulators from around the world are proposing various regulatory reforms designed to bolster market transparency and supervision.
By actively participating in co-operative initiatives as part of various national and international peer forums, the AMF establishes closer ties with other regulators to ensure that Québec financial markets continue to operate efficiently and effectively for the benefit of all stakeholders.
The AMF is therefore able to draw on best practices to support its markets, while making a tangible, direct contribution to these forums.
These efforts are part of the AMF’s aim to become the top-of-mind resource for Québec consumers and the financial services industry, and a high-performance organization.
