Alexandre Shee, a lawyer by training who is a member of the Quebec Bar, has built a career in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and is engaged in various educational and entrepreneurial initiatives to promote responsible and sustainable AI globally.

He is currently entrepreneur in residence at Mila – Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, providing professors and students with guidance and support in commercializing cutting-edge AI research.

With his knowledge of the AI technology ecosystem, Mr. Shee is credited with turning advanced AI research into major businesses. He is also the architect of winning strategies within rapidly growing organizations. He co-chairs the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence’s Future of Work Working Group and is a visiting policy fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute, where he has helped shape global AI policies and strategies. He is also a member of the board of the Just Solutions Clinic and has sat on the boards of SKEMA Canada and Protégez-Vous.

Mr. Shee was appointed to the AMF’s board of directors for a four-year term on June 3, 2026.
