Montréal - The publication of this press release constitutes the method of service authorized by the Bureau de décision et de révision (the "Bureau") of a notice of presentation related to the matter of Carrefour in respect of Mario Dumais, 9175-9704 Québec inc. and Richard Tremblay.

On July 7, 2016, the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") will ask the Bureau to extend, for a further 120 days, the freeze orders initially issued on December 7, 2009 in the matter of

 

Carrefour against the respondents Gerald Parkin, Thinh Tuong Quan, also known as Jacky Quan ("Quan"), Bartolomeo Torino, Richard Tremblay, Mario Dumais ("Dumais") and 9175-9704 Québec inc., doing business under Investissement Max and Fonds de placement Nor-West. The AMF will also ask the Bureau to issue orders for corrective measures and for the partial lifting of the freeze orders concerning Quan, Dumais and 9175-9704 Québec inc.

The hearing will be held on July 7, 2016 starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Paul-Fortugno room located at 500 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, no. 16.40, in Montréal, Québec.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
