Non-Quebec chartered insurers

The AMF considers the use of the Actuary’s Guide to be a sound management practice for all insurers licensed to carry on business in Quebec.

Non-Quebec chartered insurers must at least provide us with the documents they provide to their primary regulator.

Quebec chartered insurers

The Form and the Guide is for property and casualty Quebec chartered insurers.

  • The form must be produced from data as of December 31, 2017 while considering the reinsurance protection (retrocession) in force on January 1, 2018, as specified in section 3.6.1.2 of the MCT guideline, for the establishment of reinsurance recoverable amounts.
  • The form must be filed to the AMF no later than April 15, 2018.

Non-Quebec property and casualty chartered insurers
