Securities settlement system
A securities settlement system enables market participants to transfer and settle securities by book entry according to a set of predetermined multilateral rules.
A settlement system may be organised to provide additional securities clearing and settlement functions, such as the confirmation of trade and settlement instructions
This section lists the decisions in force pertaining to the recognition or the exemption from recognition of an entity acting as a settlement system, as well as amendments to, or the application of, such decision. All other decisions are available in the Authority Bulletin.
