New government measures

The Autorité des marchés financier (AMF) is strengthening the health guidelines for examinations held on its premises in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure a safe exam environment in accordance with current government measures. To find out more Examination rules.

Postpone or cancel an examination

Postponement fees will apply:

  • if the AMF receives your application five business days or more before the examination date indicated on your notice of examination; and
  • if your examinations are spread over a period of 90 days starting from the date the initial exam registration application is submitted and the new examination date falls within this period.

Registration fees will apply:

  • if the AMF receives your application four business days or less before the examination date indicated on your notice of examination; or
  • if your examinations are spread over a period of 90 days starting from the date the initial exam registration application is submitted and the new examination date falls after this period.
Warning

If you cancel an examination, no fees will be refunded.

As soon as your application has been processed, you can reregister for one or more exam sessions.

Submitting an Application to Postpone or Cancel Examination via AMF E-Services

To postpone or cancel an exam, use the form in the “Change registration” section in the “Becoming a Professional” tab, and pay the applicable fees.

When the AMF receives your application, you will be sent a confirmation showing your application number and client number. You can check the status of your application in the “Client File” tab under “Follow up on applications/requests.
