Registration process
The registration process consists of 2 steps:
Step 1 - The application for registration authorization
The application for registration authorization enables the AMF to validate your eligibility to write the examinations.
To obtain authorization to register for an exam, you must, among other things, meet the qualifications corresponding to the chosen sector or sector class and provide valid proof of Canadian identity.
When applying for authorization to register for examinations, you must also agree to respect the confidentiality of examination content.
The application for registration authorization is valid for only one sector or sector class. If you are applying for authorization to register for exams in several sectors or sector classes, you must complete an application for each one.
Once your application for registration authorization has been processed and the required fees paid, you will receive authorization to register for the exams.
