Examinations Claims adjustment
The AMF requires future professionals to pass the following examinations, based on the sector or sector class in which they plan to practise, in order to ensure they have the necessary skills to properly advise clients.
An examination is valid for two years from the date passed. A failed exam may be rewritten three times.
The AMF offers manuals and other tools to help you prepare for the examinations.

Repeal of provision prohibiting claims adjusters from acting in another sector
Since May 9, 2024, it has been possible to act as a claims adjuster and hold a certificate in another sector governed by the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services.
If you plan to pursue activities in more than one sector, you will have to submit an application for examination registration authorization for each sector.
