Stress testing
The Stress Testing Guideline sets out the AMF’s expectations for ensuring that financial institutions implement a stress testing program to identify the sources, types and scope of risks to which they are exposed, thereby improving risk management practices, decision-making and preparation for dealing with difficult market conditions.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
The Guideline for the Use of Artificial Intelligence, the AMF sets out expectations for sound and prudent management practices and sound commercial practices related to the use of artificial intelligence. With this Guideline, the AMF wishes to protect consumers while providing financial institutions with the clarity needed to innovate with confidence.
Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Disclosure
The Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Disclosure Guideline sets out the AMF’s expectations for strengthening financial institutions’ ability to aggregate their material risk data and, with respect to their risk tolerance and risk appetite, ensure good practices for disclosure to stakeholders.
Model Risk Management
The Model Risk Management Guideline sets out the AMF’s expectations for all stages of a model’s lifecycle, from the rationale for modeling to model decommissioning. It also includes specific expectations relating to governance and for the model risk management framework. This guideline brings together in one place the general provisions relating to model usage by financial institutions.
