Have you committed a compliance failure or breach under a law administered by the AMF? Report yourself and/or cooperate in exchange for the chance to benefit from a form of sanction relief.

Under the AMF’s Self-reporting and Cooperation Program, sanction relief may be granted to natural or legal persons that self-report by voluntarily disclosing information regarding breaches or failures they have committed and/or cooperate fully with an investigation into their activities.

It applies only in an enforcement context.

The purpose of the program is to enable the AMF to intervene more quickly in investigation and litigation matters in order to reduce the impact of breaches and incidents of non-compliance on the financial markets, victims and the court system.

The program covers all administrative and penal breaches and failures referred to in the laws administered by the AMF.

In what circumstances may sanction relief be granted?

The person must:

  • Self-report promptly and openly to the AMF; and/or
  • Cooperate fully and transparently with AMF staff by providing high-quality cooperation, i.e., truthful, complete and reliable reporting of the facts.
