Montréal – Further to the notice issued on November 12, 2004 by the Autorité des marchés financiers (“AMF”), Excellence, compagnie d’assurance-vie (“Excellence”) undertook on November 30 to cease accepting insurance proposals from automobile dealers for personal automobile credit insurance products, starting on March 1, 2005.
The AMF is satisfied with the outcome of this matter and will therefore not be issuing an order against Excellence.
