Before applying for authorization to the AMF, it is advisable to:

  • consult the Guide to the application for authorization which explains your legal and regulatory obligations, to ensure that you comply with the law;
  • register for the AMF's File Transfer Service, if you haven't already done so. See the File Transfer Service section below for explanations on how to register.

File Transfer Service

The File Transfer Service (FTS) enables applicants to securely transmit electronic documents to the AMF via a secure Web interface using the HTTPS protocol.

Each applicant must have an account ID and password for identification purposes prior to the transfer. To request your FTS access codes, send an e-mail and the support team will contact you.
