On February 18, 2010, at the AMF’s request, a Justice of the Peace from the district of Montréal authorized a search warrant in connection with the securities investment files of Tanzanite inc. and Tanzanite 2005 inc. in suite 207 of the building located at 7777 Louis-H. Lafontaine Boulevard in Anjou.

An initial motion filed to extend the period for retaining the seized property expires on August 17, 2010. In order for it to carry on with its investigation, the AMF filed a motion to extend the period for retaining the seized property until February 13, 2011. The motion will be presented on July 30, 2010, starting at 9:30 a.m. in room 4.11 at the Montréal courthouse, located at 1 Notre-Dame Street East in Montréal, Québec (H2Y 1B6).
