Roch Champigny fined $7,500

Securities Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders

Montréal - On December 11, 2014, Judge Christine Gosselin accepted the guilty plea entered by Roch Champigny to two charges of acting illegally as a dealer and making misrepresentations. The judge ordered him to pay a fine of $7,500.

The two charges against Roch Champigny related to the referral of an investor to Daniel Poulin in the matter of Éco6 and Fiducie Catholique les Anges de l'Air. The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) filed 68 charges against Daniel Poulin, Claude Thibodeau, Éco6 and Fiducie Catholique les Anges de l'Air in this matter.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
