Montréal - On September 11, 2013, Presiding Justice of the Peace Réna Émond found Pierre Couture guilty (one count) of declaring, in effecting a transaction in the securities of Richvale Resource Corporation, that they would be listed.

The judge ordered Pierre Couture to pay the minimum fine, that is, $2,000, and applicable costs. In issuing her decision, the judge noted that Pierre Couture had not benefited from the investment and had in fact lost money in the matter.

The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
