Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") has withdrawn the two charges filed in July 2009 against André Harvey in the Court of Québec (Criminal and Penal Division), district of Québec City (file No. 200-61-130595-091).

Further to the commencement of the proceeding, a further examination of the evidence following the appearance of Mr. Harvey's attorney raised a reasonable doubt with respect to the actions at issue. As a result, the AMF decided to withdraw the two charges brought against Mr. Harvey.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
