Montréal - On May 25, 2012, the Superior Court confirmed the decision handed down in May 2011 by Judge Jean-Pierre Dumais of the Court of Québec, district of Québec City, convicting Marie-Thérèse Harton of illegal practice as a securities dealer.

In May 2011, Marie-Thérèse Harton was convicted on two counts of illegal practice as a securities dealer. She had solicited mortgage-backed debt securities through classified ads for a future real estate transaction. Judge Jean-Pierre Dumais ordered her to pay fines totalling $4,000 in June 2011.

The Superior Court confirmed the guilty verdict rendered by Judge Jean-Pierre Dumais In May 2011.
