Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has issued an interlocutory decision against Élise Pépin et associés inc. pursuant to section 115 of the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services.

Under this decision, the AMF has appointed Josée Pothier as officer responsible for the firm on an interim basis. The appointment of Ms. Pothier is effective for a period of 45 days as of September 21, 2007 or until the firm has furnished the AMF with the name of an officer it intends to appoint to replace Élise Pépin with the approval of the AMF.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec’s financial sector.
