Illegal Distribution - Fines against Antonio Care and his firm

Securities Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders

Montréal - On December 18, 2014, Judge Serge Cimon of the Court of Québec, district of Montréal, approved the agreement entered into by the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF"), Antonio Care and Tire International Environmental Solutions inc. whereby the two respondents will pay fines totalling $9,000.

More specifically, Antonio Care was found guilty on five counts of pursuing activities as a securities dealer without being registered as such with the AMF and was ordered to pay fines totalling $8,000.

As for Tire International Environmental Solutions inc., it was found guilty on one count of pursuing activities as a securities dealer without being registered as such with the AMF and was ordered to pay a fine of $1,000. The firm ceased operating in 2011.

The AMF withdrew the two charges filed against Tonmik Import Export Solutions inc. in light of its bankruptcy.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
