August 25, 2015 Insurance Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders

An agreement is entered into between the Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") and Temple Insurance Company ("Temple") pursuant to which Temple acknowledges an alleged breach and agrees to pay the AMF an administrative penalty in the amount of $10,000.

The AMF claims that Temple failed to provide it, in the required form and within the prescribed time, all the documents and information which were the subject of a request for information related to the Sound Commercial Practices Guideline.

The AMF informed Temple of the said breach and asked Temple on several occasions to comply with the request. Nonetheless, it was only on May 8, 2015 that Temple provided all the documents and information requested by the AMF, in the required form and via the computer system specified for such purpose.
