Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") has launched a penal proceeding against Francis Pelletier The respondent Francis Pelletier should not be confused with the insurance of persons representative Francis Pelletier, who holds certificate No. 155 623, nor with personal lines damage insurance agent Francis Pelletier, who holds certificate No. 189 038, neither of whom is covered by the present proceedings., a former portfolio manager advising representative, for conducting a transaction in securities based on privileged information. Francis Pelletier faces a minimum fine of $5,000.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
