Jacqueline Codsi was reappointed for a four-year term.

Madeleine Féquière has more than 25 years of corporate credit risk experience acquired in various sectors, both in Québec and internationally. She has been a member of the board of directors of Investissement Québec and its audit committee since 2014 and a member of the board of directors of the Université de Montréal and its audit committee since 2015.

She previously analyzed policy issues and implications for the Regroupement québécois des centres d’aide et de lutte contre les agressions à caractère sexuel and worked as a human rights consultant for EQUITAS. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international law and international relations and is completing a master’s degree in public and international administration. Ms. Jerroumi is also a member of the boards of Force Jeunesse and the Francophone branch of Amnesty International Canada.

With a 35-year career in economics and finance, Miville Tremblay worked as an economics and financial reporter for Radio-Canada and La Presse between 1983 and 1999. He subsequently served as Director of Strategic Intelligence for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and then for nearly 17 years as Senior Director and Regional Representative at the Montréal office (Financial Markets) of the Bank of Canada. He has been a Senior Fellow of the CH Howe Institute in Toronto and an Invited Fellow of CIRANO in Montréal since 2018.

“We are very excited to welcome these new members to the Board. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives will definitely bring added value to our discussions and work,” said Board Chair Robert Panet-Raymond.

“Congratulations to Ms. Féquière, Ms. Jerroumi and Mr. Tremblay on their appointment. Their arrival rounds out the collective member competency and experience profile of the Board and aligns perfectly with the AMF’s desire to promote greater board diversity,” added AMF President and CEO Louis Morisset.

Jacqueline Codsi, who was appointed as a member of the Conseil consultatif de régie administrative (Advisory Board) on January 16, 2020 and then as a member of the Board and Chair of the Human Resources Committee in December 2021, has been reappointed. After holding various management positions in human resources management and organizational development within diversified companies, Ms. Codsi has continued her career as Vice-President of Human Resources Partnerships and Executive Coach at Leader Conseil. On December 8, 2021, further to assent being given to the Act to amend various legislative provisions mainly with respect to the financial sector, the status of the AMF’s Advisory Board was changed to that of board of directors. This change enhanced AMF governance and gave the Board members expanded powers. All members of the Advisory Board shall continue to serve on the Board for the remainder of their terms.

The AMF’s Board is now composed of Robert Panet-Raymond, Chair, Louis Morisset, non-independent member, Jacqueline Codsi, Mario Cusson, Madeleine Féquière, Nicole Gadbois-Lavigne, Hajar Jerroumi, Réal Labelle, Guy Langlois, Vice-President, Marie-Agnès Thellier, Secretary, and Miville Tremblay.
