The AMF hosted the 7th annual Global Seminar of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), a body established in 1994 whose membership includes insurance regulators and supervisors from some 200 jurisdictions throughout the world.

The annual gathering is a unique opportunity to discuss globally significant matters that are impacting the insurance sector.

This year's program covered major issues related to IAIS activities such as ComFrame (the global supervisory framework for internationally active insurance groups), the development of capital standards, the implementation of IAIS supervisory material, market conduct and supervisory co-operation.
