Raynald Chevrier fined $7,000

Securities Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders

Montréal - On January 6, 2015, Judge Serge Delisle of the Court of Québec, district of Valleyfield, declared Raynald Chevrier guilty of two charges brought against him by the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF").

The defendant was accused of pursuing illegal activities as a securities dealer and conducting a distribution of a form of investment without filing a prospectus.

Judge Delisle therefore ordered Raynald Chevrier to pay a total fine in the amount of $7,000.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
