Personal Account by Guy Mongrain - Public conferences on financial fraud prevention

Organization

Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) will soon be holding a series of five conferences on the prevention of financial fraud. The first will take place on February 23 in Québec City, and the second on March 10 in Laval.

These conferences, which are open to the general public and free of charge, are part of the many initiatives launched by the AMF to raise awareness among Quebeckers about financial fraud and provide information about AMF consumer assistance services.

In addition to AMF representatives on site to conduct the conference, Guy Mongrain, a well-known Québec TV personality, will be present to share his experience.

What is the relationship of Quebeckers with money? AMF experts will also discuss savings and debt trends, the importance of informed investment decisions, the overall financial situation of Quebeckers and AMF services available to consumers. Advice and information on how to recognize and avoid financial fraud will also be provided.
