On October 16, 2014, the Bureau de décision et de révision issued a decision ratifying and making enforceable an agreement entered into between Giguère, Morin, Services financiers inc., an insurance of persons and group insurance of persons firm, its responsible officer, Huguette Giguère, and the Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") under which the respondents agreed to pay an administrative penalty totalling $16,500 for various violations related to the keeping of client records noted during an inspection.

As well, Giguère, Morin, Services financiers inc. undertook to change its responsible officer to the AMF's satisfaction, and to implement control and monitoring measures so as to ensure that its representatives comply with An Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services and its regulations.

Lastly, Huguette Giguère, the firm's responsible officer, undertook not to act in this capacity for the next three years.
