Nutripousses Inc. - AMF files nine charges against Denis Michel Ledoux

Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) filed 9 charges against Denis Michel Ledoux and is seeking $174,000 in fines. Four charges have been filed against him for illegally pursuing activities as a securities dealer and 5 additional charges for aiding with making distributions without a prospectus.
Denis Michel Ledoux recruited investors to provide loans to companies, such as Nutripousses, a company specializing in the cultivation of cereals. Investors were promised a high return on investment, since the company was expected to be very profitable. Six investors invested a total of $240,000. None of these investors have been reimbursed.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
