Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") has launched a penal proceeding against Jacques Pageau in the judicial district of Longueuil.

Mr. Pageau purportedly attempted to manipulate the securities of a mining company between July 2013 and September 2013. He faces a minimum fine of $5,000.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
