November 24, 2005 Securities Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders

Montréal – On November 21, 2005, Marie-Claude Coulombe pleaded guilty in Montréal to 20 counts brought against her by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). Judge Gilles Cadieux of the Court of Québec (Criminal and Penal Division) ordered her to pay a total fine of $20,000 within 60 months.

Ms. Coulombe pleaded guilty to pursuing activities as a securities representative and dealer in connection with the distribution of the securities of Enviromondial inc., without being registered for such purpose with the Québec Securities Commission, thereby violating section 148 of the Securities Act.

On August 14, 2003 at the court house of St-Jérôme, Judge Jean Beaulieu of the Court of Québec (Criminal and Penal Division) ordered Ms. Coulombe to pay a fine totalling $3,000 within 18 months on three counts brought against her. She subsequently filed an appeal, before withdrawing the appeal on September 9, 2005.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
