Late insider trading reports - André Audet pleads guilty
Securities Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders
On November 11, 2013, Judge Pierre Labelle accepted the guilty plea by André Audet and, further to the joint recommendation of the parties, imposed a sanction of $21,000 on him for late filing of insider trading reports.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) charged André Audet with failing to report, within the prescribed time period, changes in his control over the securities of Everton Resources Inc., a reporting issuer in Québec, on seven occasions.
The penalty imposed represents one and a half times the minimum penalty set by law.
The AMF reminds insiders that they are required to report their trades within five days of the event via the System for Electronic Disclosure System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI).
