Illegal practice in insurance of persons - AMF lays charges against Robert Lemieux

Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") has launched a penal proceeding against Robert Lemieux1 for pursuing illegal activities as an insurance of persons representative in the Outaouais region without being registered with the AMF for such activities in Québec.
Robert Lemieux faces a minimum fine of $2,000.
The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
