Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") has launched a penal proceeding in the judicial district of Iberville against Bryan Bissonnette. The AMF alleges that, on six occasions, he illegally pursued activities as an insurance of persons representative even though he was temporarily struck off the roll This link will open in a new window (text in French only) by the Chambre de la sécurité financière in February 2015.

Bryan Bissonnette faces a minimum fine of $12,000.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
