Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") has launched a penal proceeding against Fred Pincemin, a former insurance of persons representative for practising illegally as an insurance of persons representative while under an order to be permanently struck off the roll This link will open in a new window issued by the Chambre de la sécurité financière in August 2012.

Fred Pincemin is liable to a minimum penalty of $2,000.

In 2009, Fred Pincemin was <link file:25515>sanctioned by the AMF in connection with his registration in insurance of persons.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
