Montréal - Robert Lemieux1 recently pleaded guilty to a charge filed against him by the Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") for illegally pursuing activities as an insurance of persons representative.

Robert Lemieux, who pleaded guilty for acting illegally as a representative in the Outaouais, agreed to pay a $4,000 fine.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
