Illegal practice as insurance of persons representative - Fred Pincemin pleads guilty

Montréal - Fred Pincemin recently pleaded guilty to one charge filed against him by the Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") for illegally pursuing activities as an insurance of persons representative.

Fred Pincemin, who was sanctioned

 

in 2009 in connection with his registration in insurance of persons, has agreed to pay a fine of $5,000 for having acted as an insurance of persons representative without holding the required certificate from the AMF.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
