Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") has filed two charges against Bernard Simon Nagy for illegally acting as a dealer and aiding with a distribution without a prospectus. It is seeking fines totalling $18,000.

Bernard Simon Nagy proposed an investment in Joint Venture Company with promises that the investment would generate high returns. A total of US$11,000 was invested through an account located in Antigua. Less than one year after the transaction, Bernard Simon Nagy apparently indicated that the account had disappeared.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial industry.
