Montréal - On September 22, 2015, at the request of the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF"), the Bureau de décision et de révision (the "Bureau") banned Nathalie Beckers, a former representative in insurance of persons, from acting as a director or officer of a firm for a period of five years.
The Bureau also allowed the application for an order of restitution filed by the AMF so that the balance in the bank accounts of Nathalie Beckers that are subject to a freeze order issued in 2013 is transferred to the AMF Education and Good Governance Fund.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
