Financial Literacy Month - Three new guides on personal finances

Montréal - As part of Financial Literacy Month, the Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is issuing a set of three guides related to the management of personal finances.

The step-by-step guides, prepared in a straightforward and user-friendly style, will provide assistance to anyone who wants to better manage personal budgets, savings strategies and financial objectives.

The AMF urges industry professionals to make use of the guides, which can serve as an objective source of information for clients.

The guides are available on the AMF website. Copies may be ordered, free of charge, by contacting the AMF Information Centre at 1-877-525-0337.

An AMF priority is to improve knowledge about personal finances among Quebeckers and provide them with tools for making better financial management decisions. See the Consumer section on the AMF website for other helpful documents and interactive tools as well as a new section (currently in French only) focused on financial education (Éducation financière).
