On November 21, 2012, the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") applied to the Bureau for a further 120-day extension of the freeze order initially issued on July 17, 2009 in the matter of Fer de Lance Foundation. This extension request pertains to the following firms and individuals: Fer de Lance Foundation, Fer de Lance Foundation Turks and Caicos, Jean-Pierre Desmarais, Lapointe Rosenstein Marchand Melançon, L.L.P., Attorneys, Paul M. Gélinas, Michel Hamel and George E. Fleury.
The hearing for this request is scheduled for December 14, 2012 starting at 9:30 a.m., in the Paul-Fortugno room located at 500 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, No. 16.40, in Montréal, Québec.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
