Extension to provisional administration of insurer La Vigilance
Insurance Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders
Québec – Provisional administration of the insurer La Vigilance, société de secours mutuels has been extended until May 31, 2006 by the Québec Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 379 of An Act respecting insurance (“Act”).
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has assumed provisional administration of La Vigilance pursuant to paragraphs c), d) and e) of section 378 of the Act.
On December 21, 2005, the AMF presented a complete report of its findings to the Minister of Finance, together with its recommendations.
