August 19, 2011 Service of hearing notices

Montréal - The publication of this press release constitutes the method of service authorized on August 19, 2011 by the Superior Court, district of Montréal, of a notice of an application for further detention of property seized in connection with Proactive Computer Services.

The application for further detention of property seized and the motion seeking a special method of service are attached to this press release and are also available (in French only) on the AMF website under News.

On September 3, 2010, at the request of the AMF, a Justice of the Peace from the district of Montréal authorized a search warrant to be conducted at 1212 Redpath Crescent in Montréal.

The period for the detention of property seized during the search will expire on September 6, 2011. In order to continue its investigation, the AMF filed a motion for further detention of seized property until August 31, 2012. The motion will be presented on August 26, 2011, starting at 9:30 a.m. in room 5.06 at the Montréal courthouse, located at 1 Notre-Dame Street East, Montréal, Québec, H2Y 1B6.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial industry.
