Excellence Program - AMF Announces Names of Latest University Scholarship Recipients

Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) today announced the names of the latest recipients of university scholarships, which are being awarded for the third time, under the excellence program of its Education and Good Governance Fund.

The purpose of this program is to increase knowledge in all areas associated with the AMF's mission and enhance AMF visibility. In addition to a scholarship, recipients will be offered a six-week paid internship at the AMF in their respective areas of expertise.

Doctoral scholarships ($10,000)

Master's scholarships ($5,000)

Franckel G. Badoussi This link will open in a new window, Master's in Applied Finance Sciences with a major in financial engineering,  University of Québec at Montréal

 Our program not only recognizes the excellence and commitment of these recipients, it also gives them an opportunity to increase their knowledge and acquire professional experience through an internship at the AMF, explained AMF President and Chief Executive Officer Louis Morisset.

The excellence program
For details regarding eligibility criteria, terms and conditions of grants, selection criteria and the application procedure, please consult the Project Application Excellence Scholarship Guideline. An on-line brochure about the program is also available. To apply for the program, applicants must fill out the scholarship form and return it by e-mail no later than the March 30 or September 30 application deadline.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
