Do not respond to solicitations by Claude Hebert, Hebert Finance and GXC Financial

Investor warnings - News Securities

Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (the “AMF”) cautions Québec investors about solicitations made by Claude HebertClaude Hebert should not be confused with Claude Hébert who holds certificate No. 187939 in insurance of persons, carries on activities with IG Insurance Services Inc. and is registered as a dealing representative (mutual fund dealer) with Investors Group Financial Services Inc., an individual professing to be associated with Hebert Finance and GXC Financial. The individual and firms in question are not registered with the AMF and are therefore not authorized to act as securities dealers or advisers in Québec.

Solicitations have been made on the websites kijiji.ca, gxcfinancial.com, hebertfinance.com and fondsfcc.info, where Claude Hébert offers investments in the Canadian Weed Fund (CWF) and high-yield lending programs.

To appear credible, the GXC Financial website appropriates and interchanges the names and photos of registered persons acting on behalf of investment fund managers or exempt market dealers that are registered with the AMF.

In addition, the fondsfcc.info website presents information that wrongfully suggests that the CWF is recommended by a Radio-Canada reporter. The site also unlawfully features the Industry Canada logo.
