Coopérative de services aux professionnels de la Mauricie - Gaston Boily pleads guilty

Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders Securities

Montréal - On June 12, 2012 Gaston Boily pleaded guilty in the judicial district of Chicoutimi to two charges-aiding Coopérative de services aux professionnels de la Mauricie with a distribution without a prospectus and illegal practice as a securities dealer.

Justice of the Peace Réjean Bédard of the Court of Québec ordered him to pay a $6,000 fine for the two counts.

In this matter, brothers Louis-Paul and Jean Pierre Lafond as well as Coopérative de services aux professionnels de la Mauricie and Coopérative de travailleurs actionnaire de C.T.B.T. pleaded guilty in the judicial district of Trois-Rivières in December 2011 to a total of 53 charges for distributions without a prospectus and illegal practice as a securities dealer. They were fined a total of $475,000.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
