COOP Harmonie Plus - Fines against Nicholas Viau

Montréal - On December 19, 2013, Presiding Justice of the Peace Robert Lanctôt of the Court of Québec, district of Longueuil, imposed fines against Nicholas Viau totalling $12,000, which is twice the minimum fine set out in the Securities Act for each of the two charges against him.

On February 11, 2013, Nicholas Viau was found guilty of illegal practice as a securities dealer and aiding with an illegal distribution in the matter of <link file:25521>COOP Harmonie Plus.

The Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
