Nearly 100 persons attended the February 3^rd information session on Consultation Paper 81-408 – Consultation on the Option of Discontinuing Embedded Commissions

organized by the Autorité des marchés financiers (the “AMF).

The session, marked by open-mindedness and transparency, was an opportunity for the AMF’s Investment Funds Branch to give an in-depth presentation on the various elements of the consultation paper and to answer audience questions.

The AMF will hold other consultation activities over the coming months in order to continue exchanges with industry members and pursue discussions about the issues raised by the option of discontinuing embedded commissions. Details concerning these activities will be announced shortly.
