Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders
On December 20, 2012, the Bureau de décision et de révision (the "Bureau") ordered Les Assurances Gaucher et Robert to pay an administrative penalty of $10,000.
The firm failed to respond to a complaint made by an insured despite several requests to do so by the Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF). The firm also failed to send a copy of the complainant's file to the AMF.
Les Assurances Gaucher et Robert acknowledged the facts and agreed to pay the penalty.
