April 9, 2014 Insurance Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders

Montréal - On March 25, 2014, at the request of the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF"), the Bureau de décision et de révision (the "Bureau") suspended the registration of Assurances Crédit Virage inc. until the firm has replaced its responsible officer.

The Bureau also ordered the firm to hand over all its client files, books and registers to another firm to be approved in advance by the AMF or otherwise to the AMF itself. This entire matter is further to an agreement entered into by the AMF and the firm. The latter agreed to such an order by the Bureau in light of proceedings launched against it.

The order will remain in force until Assurances Crédit Virage inc. satisfies the conditions needed for reinstating its registration and the Bureau issues its final decision in this matter.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
