Securities Service of hearing notices
Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (the “AMF”) informs Québec investors that it is preparing to ask the Financial Markets Administrative Tribunal (the “Tribunal”) to lift the freeze orders it issued on December 15, 2015 against Kamran Shahid and Imran Shahid.
The AMF will also request that the TMF order that the frozen funds be disgorged to it. Consequently, the AMF invites investors who may have a claim against Kamran Shahid or Imran Shahid to attend the hearing in order to assert their claims.
The pro forma hearing will be held on December 19, 2019 in the Paul Fortugno room, located at 500 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, Suite 16.40, Montréal, Québec.
Kamran Shahid and Imran Shahid were fined a total of $345,000 on May 2, 2019 in connection with a penal proceeding instituted by the AMF.
The Autorité des marchés financiers is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec’s financial sector.
